Dr. Joseph Bonnarens joined the College of Pharmacy in August 2011. As a member of the leadership team, he is responsible for the implementation and management of all systems and processes that support admissions and student affairs. He serves on academic committees and teaches coursework related to pharmacy administration. Dr. Bonnarens has more than 15 years of pharmacy administration teaching experience and has served as a staff pharmacist in a variety of pharmacy settings. Most recently, he was assistant dean for student and alumni affairs and associate professor of pharmacy administration at Pacific University’s School of Pharmacy. He earned his Ph.D. in pharmacy administration from the University of Mississippi.

Greg Hetrick, an alumnus and a former associate director of recruitment of Manchester University, joined the College of Pharmacy in April 2011. He will lead integration of the College's admissions, financial aid and student services with its College of Pharmacy. He also will provide academic counseling for student applicants to the program. Hetrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Manchester and a Master of Education degree in school counseling from University of West Alabama.

Abbie Usina joined the College of Pharmacy in November 2011. She will advise pre-pharmacy students throughout the recruitment and admissions processes and participate in the School’s academic advising program. Abbie most recently served as admissions counselor for three years at Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Buies Creek, N.C., and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Hillsdale College.

Jeffrey Murphy joined the College of Pharmacy in November 2011. He provides administrative support to the offices of student affairs and experiential education and to other staff and faculty as needed. Jeffrey has more than 10 years of administrative support experience and earned his Bachelor of Arts in communications from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
